How to Use DraftZero
Create a high-quality first draft in just a few steps, then review and edit before publishing.
Quick Start
Enter Your Book Title
Go to the homepage and type your book title. Be descriptive — the AI uses your title to understand the topic and tone.
Choose Genre & Settings
Select a genre (nonfiction, fiction, mystery, sci-fi, self-help, technical, etc.), language (Japanese or English), and number of chapters (3-20).
Customize (Optional)
Expand "Advanced Settings" to set writing style, target audience, characters per chapter, and add custom instructions to guide the AI.
Generate Your Book
Click "Generate", confirm the point cost, and watch as AI writes your book chapter by chapter in real-time. Points are used when generation starts and refunded automatically if it fails. A typical 10-chapter book takes about 50–90 minutes (3–5 chapters ~15–40 min; 20 chapters ~2–4 hours). Times vary with load, content, and model — you can close the page and generation continues.
Review & Revise
Your finished book is saved to My Books automatically, and you can keep revising it there. On the book page, edit any chapter directly (free), ask AI for an addition that keeps your original text (20pt when a draft is produced), or regenerate a chapter with your own instructions (20pt, refunded if it fails).
Download & Publish
Once complete, download in your preferred format and publish to Amazon KDP or any other platform.

Publishing to Amazon KDP
DraftZero outputs are formatted for KDP. For Kindle ebooks, upload the EPUB file. For paperback, upload the PDF (6x9" format with proper margins) and the paperback cover PDF. See our KDP Getting Started Guide for detailed instructions.
