  • Book titles, themes, genres, languages, chapter counts, custom instructions, and imported manuscripts you provide
  • Account information (email address, password hash) if you register with email
  • Google account ID and email address if you sign in with Google
  • Generated content (book data)
  • Access logs (IP address, timestamps, browser information)
  • Payment information processed through Stripe (we do not store credit card numbers)

2. How We Use Your Information

We use collected information for the following purposes:

  • Providing and improving the book generation service
  • Processing payments and managing your account
  • Preventing abuse and ensuring security
  • Analyzing service usage to improve features

3. Third-Party Services

The Service uses the following third-party services:

  • DeepSeek API (api.deepseek.com) - AI provider for book content generation. Your titles, instructions, and the text needed for generation are sent to DeepSeek's servers. Under DeepSeek's own policy, this data may be used to improve their services and AI models, and may be processed and stored in China. Do not enter personal, confidential, or unpublished information you do not wish to share. See the DeepSeek Privacy Policy for details.
  • Google Gemini API - Used for cover image generation.
  • Stripe - Payment processing. Stripe's privacy policy applies to payment data.
  • Google Analytics - Anonymous usage analytics.

We do not sell your personal information to third parties.

4. Cookies

The Service uses session cookies for CSRF protection and authentication. These cookies are essential for security and do not contain personally identifiable information beyond session identifiers.

5. Data Retention

Generated book data is stored on our servers. Completed books are available for download for a limited period. Inactive data may be periodically removed. You can export your data and delete your account and its associated data yourself at any time from your account settings. After deletion, minimal records required for payment, audit, and security purposes may be retained.

6. Your Rights

You have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Request correction or deletion of your data
  • Export your generated books at any time
  • Close your account

7. Security

We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your data, including HTTPS encryption, password hashing, and rate limiting. However, no internet transmission is completely secure.

8. Children's Privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

We may update this policy from time to time. Significant changes will be announced on the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance.
